WGTN Locals

If you're living at home or flatting while studying, WGTN Locals is your chance to connect, get involved, and feel part of university life.

Led by Student Ambassadors who’ve been through it themselves, the WGTN Locals programme offers fun social events, insider tips, and a friendly new student community. You’ll also get access to your own online Nuku community page—packed with helpful resources, updates, and everything you need to stay in the loop.

You’ll get the full first year student experience, even if you’re not living in one of our halls of residence.

Whether you're keen to make new friends, explore Wellington, or find your place at uni, WGTN Locals is here to support you every step of the way.
