Summer Research Scholarship Programme–SummResSch 0 points Qualification regulations

1. In order to be admitted to this programme, a student needs to:

(a) have completed at least two years of equivalent full-time study in a tertiary degree by the programme start date; and

(b) be enrolled in an undergraduate degree, Honours, postgraduate diploma, or Part 1 of a Master’s degree at a New Zealand or Australian university at the time of application; and

(c) be recommended for admission by the Head of School or nominee

2. Students’ enrolled in a PhD or Master's by Thesis are not eligible.

3. (a) Students enrolled for this programme must complete the SRCH 301 course.

(b) Students must complete this programme prior to the commencement of  Trimester 1 the following year.

(c) Each student enrolled into the programme and course will be required to comply with the Summer Research Scholarship Programme conditions

(d) Each Scholarship value is set by the Scholarships Office before the start of Summer Trimester.

4. Participants will be selected upon consideration of the following:

(a) Academic Merit

(b) Competencies as related to the specific projects

(c) Fit with the research supervisor/team
