Become a leader
Master contemporary tools and models to enhance your strategic thinking, decision-making, and leadership. Improve your ability to collaborate with other health professionals to provide quality, people-centred leadership and management in the health sector.
Health Leadership and Management will suit you whether you’re a recent graduate looking to change career paths or a seasoned health professional. You’ll learn concepts of collective leadership to facilitate better outcomes and improve effective management of complex health situations.
Your study will draw on the core competencies you need to excel as an effective and impactful healthcare leader. These have been researched and defined by the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM)—the peak professional body advancing the professionalisation of health service management and leadership in Australasia.
Choose your study path
The postgraduate path you take will depend on your previous academic achievements and your professional goals.
You can staircase your study from Postgraduate Certificate to the Postgraduate Diploma to the Master’s. That is, the courses you study in one qualification can count towards the next one.
Part-time study options
You can choose to study part-time with one course per trimester, or 20 hours of study a week.
