Advance your understanding of marine life
Focus your passion for marine biology— learn about the marine ecosystems and the organisms they support, and expand your expertise at a top-ranking New Zealand school for research quality in marine sciences.
Our flexible postgraduate qualifications let you tailor your studies to your goals—learn about the connections between ecosystems and the physiology of marine organisms. Or focus your study of ocean life on particular marine organisms, and how these life forms interact with each other.
Whichever path you choose, you’ll learn conservation practices and problems in New Zealand and the Pacific region, and critically evaluate current issues in marine biology. By doing so you’ll develop practical skills in analysis, research design, and implementation.
