Help users achieve their goals
Interaction Design is about shaping how people experience the physical and digital world. It’s one of the newest and fastest-growing fields of design, bringing together creativity, technology, and an understanding of people. Interaction designers create intuitive, engaging experiences across apps, websites, games, physical products, and services.
You’ll learn to make people’s interactions with products and services more intuitive, efficient, and meaningful. By understanding people’s goals, needs, and behaviours, you’ll identify barriers and design better experiences. You’ll bring your ideas to life using tools such as customer journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes, developing and testing solutions from concept through to final design.
Interaction designers understand people’s backgrounds, interests, and cultures, and often work in groups. If you’re interested in going beyond aesthetic design, and deeper into user experience at the level of psychology, behaviour, and interaction, then Interaction Design is right for you.
