Learn to understand social patterns and change
Make sense of the social world we live in by studying Sociology. Understanding how societies are built so you can look at the major issues confronting our world in a new way.
You’ll learn how differences can turn into divisions and how divisions can create social solidarity. Look at a range of situations—from individuals’ healthcare and reproductive decisions to global movements like extremism, statelessness, or decolonisation—and uncover what these can tell us about social patterns and change. You’ll apply analytical frameworks to help you describe and communicate about social processes that trouble or delight you.
If you want to understand how our social world is built and how it affects the way we live every day, Sociology is right for you.
