Research the frontier of technology and design
Study Postgraduate Media Design to continue your exploration of emerging, cutting-edge technology and its future possibilities. At a postgraduate level, Media Design ties together theory, practice, and technology.
Media Design research at the School of Design Innovation departs from classical design and design thinking towards computational design for networked media. You’ll focus on relationships between the social and technical, the material and immaterial, and data and context.
Develop a critical understanding of design’s role in shaping the future with emerging technology. For example, you might investigate how one technology can be applied to another area—such as using VR in healthcare.
